Screamland

Screamland Fright at the Museum was a boundary-pushing haunted experience I wrote and directed, set in a “haunted art gallery” where guests roamed freely among 20 roaming “artist” scareactors from across time. Without the typical walls or maze-like passages, I had to pivot my design strategy—focusing on open spaces and interactive stations that capitalized on improvisation and rich character backstories. Each performer was trained extensively in improv techniques, bringing the storyline to life as they portrayed artists eternally trapped in this bizarre gallery. I also introduced an original mascot character, writing a series of fun, thematic videos that tied the attraction together. Despite the challenges, Screamland delivered a fresh, immersive experience that left guests raving about its originality and intensity
